Ashley and Cole D. spent 15 days in beautiful Costa Rica! It was a nice way to spend Christmas this year away from the cold weather!! We had a great time and can't wait to go back!

Meeting the Canadian Prime Minister

Being at the right place at the right time, one has to be lucky to make the most of that opportunity.
That happened to me in suburban Vancouver, BC.
How fortunate for me on meeting the Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Steven Harper, in Burnaby, BC, on Feb. 20, 2011, at an Ismaili restaurant. He was dressed very casually to meet with his university roommate, Alnoor Lakhani & his family, on a personal basis.
The PM is such a down-to-earth person. He surprised every patron at the restaurant when he went by every table, shaking hands, asking their names and having pictures taken officially.
This is the first time ever that I was able to meet such a high profile, distinguished luminary in person.
I’ll treasure this ‘unplanned’ meeting with the Canadian Prime Minister. This is a memory of a lifetime that is going to be embedded in my memory forever.
It gives me great pleasure to share this official picture with my family & friends.
